YALE LIFTING The first Yale factory was founded in 1868 by Linus Yale junior in Stamford Connecticut in 1877 and the first manual chain hoist equipped with disc brakes was produced and patented.
Since the beginning of 900s, many
activities of manufacturing were concentrated in Velbert in Germany
where Yale Industrial Products GmbH is still operating. In 1936 the
first manual Yale Pull -Lift was assembled in Germany and it's
still produced in more than a million copies. In the entire continent
there was quickly a deep increase in the sale of Yale hoists, and its
own branches or representative offices were opened in each European
country .
